Phase-selective growth of water-soluble strontium aluminate via sputtering deposition for freestanding oxide membranes

Scalable freestanding oxide membranes no longer depend on slow, boutique laser deposition: simply tuning the sputtering atmosphere enables phase-selective growth of water-soluble sacrificial layers from a single target.
