This study investigates the clinical outcomes of custom-made acetabular implants in complex revision total hip arthroplasty (rTHA). This is a therapeutic level IV study with a minimum 5-year follow-up. The study suggests custom implants can provide a viable option for acetabular reconstruction in challenging rTHA cases.
Custom acetabular implants demonstrate acceptable mid-term survival and function in complex revision THA, offering a solution when standard implants are insufficient.
