This paper introduces a forecasting-inventory optimization pipeline that integrates statistical, machine learning, and deep learning forecasting models within an inventory simulation framework. The pipeline evaluates the operational impact of seven forecasting approaches on single- and two-echelon newsvendor systems using the M5 Walmart dataset.
