We prove that for sufficiently large $n$, any Latin square of order $n$ can be transformed to avoid a given partial Latin square by only permuting its rows and columns. This result is achieved by combining Hall's Marriage Theorem with probabilistic arguments on random permutations. The finding establishes a strong structural property of Latin squares, demonstrating their flexibility in avoiding specific substructures.
Any Latin square can be row/column permuted to avoid any given partial Latin square for large enough orders.
For all sufficiently large $n$, we prove that every Latin square of order $n$ can be made to avoid any prescribed partial Latin square of order $n$ by permuting only its rows and columns. The proof combines Hall's theorem with elementary estimates for a random permutation.
