We investigate the preservation of Gieseker stability under Fourier-Mukai transforms when the kernel is a family of stable sheaves. A specific condition is derived that guarantees this stability preservation, extending previous results for specific cases. This work provides a deeper understanding of how Fourier-Mukai transforms interact with sheaf stability, a fundamental concept in algebraic geometry and its applications.
Gieseker stability is preserved under Fourier-Mukai transforms if the kernel satisfies a precise condition related to its stability properties.
For a Fourier-Mukai transform whose kernel is a family of Gieseker stable sheaves, we shall give a condition for the preservation of Gieseker stability of sheaves.
