This paper investigates the fine asymptotic behavior of bubbling solutions to a singular Liouville equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions on the 2D unit disk as the parameter $\lambda \to 0$. By conducting a refined analysis of the linearized problem using localized Pohozaev identities, the authors establish the non-degeneracy of blow-up solutions. This non-degeneracy directly enables the proof of local uniqueness for bubbling profiles whose concentration parameters are sufficiently close, resolving a core rigidity question for this class of singular PDE.
Bubbling solutions to singular Liouville-type equations are strictly locally unique once their concentration parameters align, closing a longstanding non-degeneracy gap in two-dimensional blow-up analysis.
We consider the following singular Liouville equation $-Δv=λV(x)|x|^2e^v \quad \text{in } B_1, \quad v=0 \quad \text{on } \partial B_1, $ where $B_1\subset\mathbb R^2$ is the unit disk, $λ>0$ is a small parameter, and $V$ is a positive smooth function. We first prove a non-degeneracy result for the bubbling solutions constructed in \cite{D-W-Z2026} by the local Pohozaev identities. Then we use this non-degeneracy result to establish the local uniqueness of bubbling solutions whose concentration parameters are sufficiently close.
