The evidence base remains preliminary and methodologically heterogeneous, insufficient to support conclusions about clinical effectiveness or generalizability to diverse adolescent populations, and future research should prioritize adequately powered adolescent-focused trials, participatory co-design approaches, culturally informed adaptations, and transparent ethical governance frameworks.
