Cemented metal-on-polyethylene spacers have similar cost profiles with lower complications rates compared to molded all-cement articulating spacers for treatment of knee periprosthetic joint infection.

MoP articulating spacers demonstrate a lower complication rate compared to all-cement spacers in two-stage revision for TKA PJI, without a significant difference in overall cost.
