This work explores the application of quantum combinatorial optimization to Return-Oriented Programming (ROP) gadget selection for exploit construction by formulate gadget selection as a Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO) problem that captures individual gadget cost and inter-gadget register-clobbering interactions.
