To resolve the breakdown of finite-order hydrodynamic truncations in far-from-equilibrium relativistic matter, the authors develop ShARK (Stochastic Advection Relaxation Kinetics), a fully 3D Monte Carlo framework that solves the relaxation-time Boltzmann equation without truncation approximations. The framework enforces target transport coefficients directly, enabling strict convergence to the exact Anderson-Witting model under arbitrary initial conditions. Validated on Bjorken and Gubser flows, ShARK successfully recovers exact relativistic kinetic benchmarks where traditional truncated methods fail.
Far-from-equilibrium relativistic dynamics no longer require flawed moment truncations: an exact, fully 3D Monte Carlo kinetic solver now matches target transport coefficients across arbitrary flow geometries.
The relaxation-time Boltzmann equation governs relativistic matter far from equilibrium, but existing approaches rely on finite-order truncations that break down in this regime. We introduce ShARK (Stochastic Advection Relaxation Kinetics), the first fully 3D Monte Carlo kinetic framework to capture exact, far-from-equilibrium ultrarelativistic dynamics for arbitrary initial conditions while directly enforcing target transport coefficients, converging to the exact Anderson-Witting solution. Validated against the Bjorken and Gubser flows, the framework reproduces the exact kinetic result where truncated methods fail.
