Moral psychology has historically focused on cognitive-rational and intuitive-emotional processes whose explanations are difficult to integrate, resulting in a fragmented perspective on the behavioral application of moral principles. This paper proposes Moral Activity Theory (MAT) as an integrative framework, encompassing both known processes within a single conceptualization and structuring of levels of moral activity, and moral principles with their practical applications in specific sociocultural contexts through the concept of moral implementations. Furthermore, the potential contributions of MAT to moral psychology in Latin America and its potential integration with existing research and institutional initiatives in the region are discussed. The scientific community is invited to apply this theoretical proposal in empirical studies to evaluate its scientific contribution to the study of the psychological nature of morality.
