The study aims to describe the relationship of physical fitness and mental health with location as a moderating factor among adolescents in upland and lowland environment in Ginatilan, Cebu during the school year 2025-2026. The expected output of the study underscores the importance of integrating comprehensive physical fitness programs into school curricula and community initiatives in Ginatilan, Cebu. This study employs a descriptive correlational design to assess physical fitness components (such as aerobic capacity, muscular strength, flexibility) and mental health indicators (including depression, anxiety, resilience) among a sample of adolescents aged 13 to 19 years. Quantitatively, the findings consistently show that higher levels of physical fitness, whether measured as aerobic capacity (VO₂ max, sprint times), muscular strength (lifting duration), or flexibility (sit‑and‑reach) are associated with better mental health outcomes.
