This work presents HOPHY (Hierarchical Off-road Planning using Hypergraphs), a reusable hierarchical terrain representation that organizes map-scale terrain into geometrically connected semantic regions (GSNodes), connectivity-preserving critical regions (Coarse Regions), and typed hyperedges for terrain, agent, and weather context.
